A fight on an Auburn basketball team's flight results in a bloodied player and torn clothes, according to a report.
A fight reportedly involved Ja'Heim Hudson and Jahki Howard.
The details of the scuffle involving the Auburn men's basketball team on a plane have been revealed, including the reason for the flight being turned around.
On Saturday night, the No. 11 Tigers were scheduled to play against the Cougars in Houston, but they had to turn back after learning that two team members had been involved in a fight.
According to radio communications between the pilot and air traffic control, the fight that was initially reported as non-physical escalated.
The pilot requested to turn the flight back to Auburn and requested the presence of law enforcement upon their return, according to audio obtained by WBMA.
The pilot stated, "The fight has been contained, and we spoke to the coach and the nurse on board."

A physical fight occurred on board, resulting in one bloodied player and clothes being torn.
According to Justin Hokanson of On3sports, it was reported that freshman Jahki Howard and senior Ja'Heim Hudson were the players involved in the fight. These players did not travel back with the team to Houston for Saturday's game.
The university did not promptly reply to Planet Chronicle Digital's inquiry for comment, and it did not verify the occurrence.
