In October, houses belonging to Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were reportedly broken into hours apart.
The 'Monday Night Football' game between the team and the New Orleans Saints on Oct. 7 reportedly coincided with the burglaries.
Last month, both homes of Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were burgled, happening just hours apart.
The burglary at Mahomes' house in Belton, Missouri, was reported at midnight Oct. 6, according to documents obtained by Planet Chronicle Digital from the Cass County Sheriff's Office.
TMZ Sports first reported the burglary at Mahomes' home, prompting deputies to investigate.
On October 7th, the same day the Kansas City Chiefs hosted the New Orleans Saints for "Monday Night Football," Kelce's mansion in Leawood, Kansas was burgled.
It’s unclear if anything was taken from either mansion.
The investigation into the break-in at Mahomes' house is ongoing, while a police activity log reports that the break-in at Kelce's occurred on October 8th.
In 2020, Mahomes purchased the land where his house stands, resulting in a luxurious home for him, his wife Brittany, and their family. The property boasts a turf field for football and soccer, as well as a golf hole.
Last season, Kelce relocated to his Leawood residence in search of greater privacy following the publicization of his relationship with Taylor Swift.
On the night of the burglary at Kelce's home, Swift was at Arrowhead Stadium to watch the Chiefs defeat the Saints, 26-13, and maintain their unbeaten record for the year.
In that game, Kelce received 70 yards from nine of Mahomes' 28 successful passes.
