Nick Bosa, a 49ers star, should take his support for Trump to the next level, according to an ex-MLB star.
"OutKick the Morning" featured Jonathan Lucroy as a guest.
Nick Bosa received encouragement from former MLB star Jonathan Lucroy to intensify his support of President-elect Donald Trump.
During the 49ers' win over the Cowboys on NBC, Bosa displayed a Make America Great Again hat and later paid tribute to Trump with a sack dance.
On "OutKick the Morning" with Charly Arnolt on Tuesday, Lucroy suggested that Bosa should be more openly supportive of Trump.
Lucroy stated that he made a visual statement by wearing a hat. Although he hasn't spoken much about it, he should continue to wear it. In fact, he should wear Trump 2024 shirts every day and even wear a Trump 2024 jockstrap. He should walk around the clubhouse naked wearing that thing, according to Lucroy.
"Every interview he wears that, they're gonna keep fining him. Well, he's making 100-something-million bucks. He's good."
In MLB's world, the fine would not be given to the league but instead would be given to charity, as stated by Lucroy.
"I would donate $100,000 to a pro-life charity if I were to go all out and own it, even if it meant taking a $100,000 fine at the end of the season."
The NFL Foundation receives fines collected to support the health, safety, and wellness of athletes at all levels, including youth football and the communities that support the game. Additionally, the Professional Athletes Foundation uses the fines to assist retired NFL players in need.
Bosa was reportedly fined just over $11,200 for the hat stunt.
