Concern for ex-Thunder, Pistons forward Kyle Singler after mysterious Instagram post.
Kevin Love has provided support to Singler, who fears for his life.
Concern has been expressed in the NBA community regarding former player Kyle Singler, who posted a mysterious Instagram video expressing fear for his life.
Singler, who played six seasons in the NBA after starring at Duke, was shirtless in the video he posted while speaking slowly.
Singler stated that she has been mistreated and abused, neglected, and made into a mental example. She fears for her life daily and feels that people in her community treat her as if she will cause problems and make things difficult for others, despite her efforts to be helpful.
"I feel like my self-assuredness and determination are not recognized or respected."
NBA players discussed the video, which was abruptly terminated after approximately 90 seconds.
Kevin Love of the Miami Heat said, 'I love you Kyle. Hit me whenever. Please.'
"I’m here for you, brother! You aren’t alone," Andre Drummond of the Philadelphia 76ers said.
"Always and forever, I'm here for you, bro," said Isaiah Thomas.
Love also posted to social media, imploring people to help Singler.
Please shower Kyle Singler with love and support, as he has touched the lives of many who have spent time with him. I am forever indebted to him and grateful for his impact on my life. To the NBA family, Duke BB family, and South Medford community, let us come together to support one of our own.
In 2011, Singler was selected in the second round by the Detroit Pistons from Duke University. After spending a few years with the Pistons, he was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder during the 2014-15 season.
Singler remained in the NBA for three more seasons before retiring from the league after the 2017-18 season.
He played two seasons in Spain for two different clubs in Liga ACB.
