On Tuesday night, Tim Hardaway Jr., a Detroit Pistons guard, was wheelchaired off the court after hitting his head on the court, causing a frightening scene.

While defending against the Miami Heat, Hardaway sustained a series of violent blows to his head.

Bam Adebayo, the Heat star center, tried to drive to the basket for a layup, but accidentally hit Hardway in the head with his elbow. Despite initially going down, Hardway was able to get back up.

Hardaway attempted to defend a Tyler Herro layup, but he was knocked to the ground. Upon falling, Hardaway's head struck the court, prompting concern among those present.

Hardaway tried to stand up on his own, but those nearby suggested he exit the game in a wheelchair for his safety.

In the overtime win against the Pistons, Hardaway played 18 minutes for Detroit before getting injured. He scored 11 points, hitting 3 out of 6 shots, to aid the team.

Before the start of the season, the Pistons acquired Hardaway from the Mavericks in his 12th year in the NBA.

Over 29.3 minutes per game, he has averaged 12.6 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in all 11 games he has played.

Tim Hardaway Jr., the son of Basketball Hall of Famer Tim Hardaway, played six seasons with the Mavericks before moving to the Pistons.

In the 2013 NBA Draft, the New York Knicks picked him 24th overall, and he spent two seasons with them before moving to the Atlanta Hawks.
