Bills fan Travis Kelce's ex-girlfriend reveals she hopes for a Chiefs loss.
Kayla Nicole and Kelce dated for five years.
It's safe to say the Kansas City Chiefs have one less fan.
The Chiefs are seeking their fifth Super Bowl appearance since the start of the decade, but they must first defeat the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game. However, history favors Kansas City, as they have a 4-0 record against Buffalo in playoff matchups during that time frame.
If there's one person who knows the capabilities of the Chiefs, it's Kayla Nicole, the former girlfriend of star tight end Travis Kelce.
On the "I Am Athlete Daily" podcast, host Brandon Marshall confessed that he didn't want to discuss the Chiefs with Nicole, but they still engaged in some analysis.
I believe there is no other environment like that. The stadium is the loudest in the league, and the energy is insane. I think Patrick Mahomes, being a seasoned veteran, is well-equipped to handle the pressure. There is no panic or sudden decisions in this offense. It's a well-thought-out strategy. Mahomes is a master of the game, studying it like no one else. Oh my God, he's completely dedicated to it. He's a true student of the game.
"Andy Reid, the Chiefs coach, is known for his unconventional playbook. Their offense is overly dependent on throwing the ball, and they lack reliable targets who can consistently score touchdowns."
Nicole then name-dropped her ex.
"Travis Kelce, a tight end, won't participate in the Super Bowl. Despite threats, he would like to see someone new in the game. However, it won't happen."
But despite the positive words, she made her rooting interest clear.
"I'm not sure if Josh Allen will succeed, but it's exciting to see him try. I'm feeling bored with the same old things," she said.
Nicole and Kelce were together for five years and even went to Mahomes' wedding with him. Now, Kelce is dating Taylor Swift.
