On Sunday afternoon, the Buccaneers aim to secure the NFC South title and qualify for the playoffs.

A moment of silence was observed for the Saints prior to the start of the game, as they were playing their first game since the New Year's Day terror attack on Bourbon Street.

During its broadcast, Fox Sports recorded the solemn scene without any interruptions or cutting away.

"This week, our country was shaken by a heinous act of violence in New Orleans, resulting in immense sorrow. The Bucs' public address announcer addressed the community, including the courageous first responders, at Raymond James Stadium. In light of this tragedy, we kindly request that you stand with us in a moment of silent reflection, honoring the memory of the victims, their families, and loved ones."

The entire team, including the Saints and the Buccaneers, held hands and bowed their heads on the sideline.

The national anthem played on Fox Sports as the uninterrupted moment continued, showcasing scenes of both sides, the crowd, and the patriotism present in Tampa Bay.

The Saints and Pelicans announced that one of the victims of the terror attack was a member of their video production team with ASM New Orleans.

Shamsud-Din Jabbar, who was accused of being a "young, talented" member of the video production team, was killed in a senseless act of violence by Matthew Tenedorio.

The Saints committed to giving $1 million to aid the victims of the attack in the French Quarter, where 14 people were killed and many more were injured. This act of terror occurred just two miles from the Caesars Superdome, where the Saints play their home games.

The New Orleans Saints owner, Gayle Benson, expressed her condolences to the community after the New Year's Day terror attack in New Orleans. She stated that the community has experienced an unimaginable tragedy and their collective hearts are broken as they mourn for the victims and survivors. As a league, the Saints and other teams compete at the highest levels of competition and share spirited rivalries. Their staffs and players work tirelessly towards achieving their goals and they share in victories and defeats.

"Despite our differences, we are united through football and stand together against hatred. We will defeat terror and fear with an unwavering resolve and purpose that is rooted in love, compassion, and kindness. Our mission has always been to provide aid quickly and effectively, and we are grateful for the collaboration with both the Greater New Orleans Foundation (GNOF) and United Way to ensure that these funds reach those who need them most."
