The Browns were unable to overcome the Broncos' defense, despite Jameis Winston's impressive 497 passing yards, in a primetime matchup.
Winston threw 2 pick-sixes, while Jeudy had 235 yards and a touchdown.
The Cleveland Browns were defeated by the Denver Broncos in a thrilling "Monday Night Football" game, with a final score of 41-32, which helped the Broncos' playoff chances.
The Browns emerged victorious in a shootout against the Steelers, similar to Jameis Winston's previous nationally televised game.
This time, it was Bo Nix, not Russell Wilson, who faced off against Winston as his opposing quarterback. Nix continued to demonstrate why he's a top contender for Offensive Rookie of the Year as he dismantled the Browns' defense.
During the second drive of the team, Nix meticulously analyzed the defense and discovered rookie DeVaughn Vele for a 16-yard gain, bringing the Broncos to the one-yard line. Later, running back Javonte Williams scored the first touchdown of the game, putting the home team in the lead.
Elijah Moore gained 44 yards in four plays, and David Njoku scored two touchdowns for Cleveland, tying the game 7-7.
The Browns' offense primarily relied on Jerry Jeudy, who declared before the game that he aimed to "whip their a--."
In the third quarter, he scored a 70-yard touchdown on nine catches, with a 93-yard touchdown following a dot thrown by Nix to Marvin Mims Jr. on third-and-11.
With the score now 31-26, Winston returned to center and aimed to take the lead for the first time in the game by scoring a touchdown.
Nick Chubb was exposed on his way to a five-yard touchdown.
Despite the pressure, Nix maintained his composure and led his team into the red zone again. Lutz then scored a short field goal to regain the lead, 34-32.
Ja’Quan McMillan stepped into the out route and wasn't touched after falling to the turf, allowing him to walk right into the end zone and pull away late in the fourth quarter, leaving Winston with no chance to respond once more.
Denver secured its victory with the Browns failing to produce any magic.
Nix had a 18-for-35 performance with 294 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Mims and Courtland Sutton led the team with three and six catches, respectively, and 105 and 102 yards.
The Broncos' Jaleel McLaughlin had 84 yards on 14 carries on the ground.
The Browns had a remarkable game with Winston passing 497 yards on 34-of-58 and Moore catching 11 yards on eight attempts. Njoku also contributed with nine receptions for 52 yards and two scores.
