Taylor Swift reportedly gave a gift to Brittany Mahomes' newborn daughter days before Trump's inauguration.

In the early months of her pregnancy, Mahomes was subjected to a barrage of hate comments from Swift's fans.

According to Page Six, Brittany Mahomes received a hand-made baby blanket from Taylor Swift as a gift to celebrate the birth of her daughter, Golden Raye.

"Taylor's aunt knitted her a baby blanket when she was a child, and it has always held a special meaning for her. She now wants to do the same for her friends, as it's become a tradition she loves and can't buy."

Brittany and her husband, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, welcomed their new baby on January 12. This is their third child and their first since Swift joined their family when the pop star started dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

In September, Brittany, who was in the early stages of her pregnancy, was subjected to a wave of online harassment from Swift fans.

Brittany faced a barrage of insults and attacks from Swift fan accounts after she gave a like to an Instagram post on Donald Trump's account. The post, which outlined Trump's 2024 policy platform, circulated widely on social media.

Brittany defended herself multiple times in social media posts and a podcast interview.

Brittany wrote on Aug. 23, "Being an adult hater requires deep-seated issues that haven't been healed from childhood. Your brain is fully developed, yet you still hate to see others succeed." On Aug. 26, she wrote, "Despite the current tone of the world, you can disagree with someone and still love them. You can have different views and still be kind. Read that again!"

In an episode of the "Whoop" podcast on Aug. 28, she revealed that she has relied on her three-time Super Bowl-winning spouse to help her cope with the recent media attention.

"Having him beside me and guiding me through it has helped a lot. I think that’s kind of gotten to where we are at now," she said.

The political differences between Swift and Mahomes were more noticeable during the Chiefs' home opener against the Ravens on Sept. 5, as they were seated in separate suites.

On Sept. 10, Swift announced her endorsement for Kamala Harris. In a Planet Chronicle interview the next day, Trump declared that he liked Brittany "much better" than Swift in response, having already acknowledged the support from the then-pregnant mother on social media.

Trump intensified the political rift between Mahomes and Swift by posting "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!" on Truth Social.

Despite Trump's aggressive messaging, Swift and Mahomes didn't keep their differences hidden. They were later seen in the same suite during a Chiefs game against the Saints on Oct. 7, and Brittany showed off a picture of Swift rubbing her pregnant belly. In an October interview on "The Drive" podcast, Patrick said that he and Brittany often let their three-year-old daughter, Sterling Skye, bake with Swift.

Patrick's mother Randi Mahomes also endorsed Trump days before the election.

Recent election data indicates that Swift's endorsement of Harris did not significantly influence voters.

Women aged 18 to 44 voted for Trump at a rate of 44%, while women aged 45 and older supported him at a rate of 48%, according to AP VoteCast.

A poll conducted by the New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer, and Siena College found that 44% of likely voters nationwide have a positive view of Taylor Swift, while 34% have a negative view.

According to the poll, 47% of people view Trump positively, while 51% do not. On the other hand, 70% of Democrats have a positive view of Swift, compared to 41% of independents and 23% of Republicans. In contrast, 60% of Republicans had an unfavorable view of Swift, while only 11% of Democrats shared the same sentiment.

In contrast to Swift, a September poll revealed that Trump's favorability ratings among likely voters are higher.

As Trump prepares to return to office on Monday, Swift remains close to her Trump-supporting friend.
