Stephen Curry, a supporter of Harris, has no 'ill will' towards Trump following his victory.
'Everyone hopes for a successful next four years'
Stephen Curry was likely unhappy in the late hours of Tuesday night and early hours of Wednesday morning.
Kamala Harris was endorsed by the future Hall of Famer, but Donald Trump won the election.
After his Golden State Warriors faced the Boston Celtics, Curry was asked about the election and called it "fair." He took the high road.
"Congratulations on a hard-fought campaign," Curry said. "I hope that the country's functioning as intended, with everyone supporting each other and working towards the right direction. I don't hold any ill will or resentment. I wish for the next four years to be successful for everyone, and for accountability to be a priority."
Over the summer, Harris received support from Curry and his coach, Kerr, who appeared at the Democratic National Convention on her behalf.
Prior to the game, Kerr had comments similar to Curry's.
Kerr stated, "Although I support democracy, I believe the American people have elected Trump as their leader. I hope he succeeds in the next four years and our country thrives."
"Kerr stated, "I am committed to supporting my country and government, and I believe in the power of the people. I want the best for us, and I recognize the complexity of the world we live in. I am aware of my privilege and want what's best for us. I hope Trump can deliver that.""
Harris conceded the presidential race on Wednesday.
In the aftermath of his victories in crucial swing states, Planet Chronicle forecasted Trump's presidency.
