Stephen A Smith criticizes Oprah Winfrey and Michelle Obama for turning off voters.
Smith stated that celebrities would not pressure voters into taking a specific action through feelings of guilt.
Despite the efforts of those who supported Vice President Kamala Harris, she did not receive enough votes to win the election.
Since former President Grover Cleveland, the first person to win the election after a loss has been elected as the 47th president of the United States, which is President-elect Donald Trump.
Stephen A. Smith, an ESPN pundit, was critical of the tactics employed by some of Harris' supporters.
"Smith stated on his "Stephen A. Smith Show" that celebrities, who are valued at hundreds of millions or even billions, are perceived as being disconnected from the average American's lifestyle and standard of living. Despite this, Smith believes that celebrities will not be able to use their wealth and influence to pressure Americans into changing their behavior based on their own experiences."
Oprah Winfrey's clip was played by him, stating that a victory for Trump could mean they would never vote again.
"Smith stated that the kind of messaging that alienates an electorate and a voter is when the freedom promised is confiscated morally by making them feel worthless unless they vote the way they are told to. With an inflation-ridden economy and over 12 million people crossing the border, the value of their dollars is dissipating before our eyes."
Smith responded to a clip of Michelle Obama stating that voting for Trump by Black men was a vote against "us."
"If we disagree with you, does that mean we are against you?" Smith inquired. "How do you think the men felt about that? Do we have to follow your instructions or else we are anti-you? Did you really think that would work? Do you know anything about most men? Do you think that approach will succeed?"
In September, Smith predicted that Harris would receive 81 million votes, but she fell short of the 81 million votes President Biden received in 2020.
Trump has won the popular vote for the first time in his three election cycles.
