This week, Simone Biles demonstrated her dedication to her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens, through a permanent gesture.

Owens inspired Biles to get a tattoo of the letter "J," which is small and located on her ring finger.

Sydney Smith, Biles' tattoo artist, posted footage of the tattoo on Instagram.

The black tattoo is so small it is nearly invisible without zooming in.

In addition to the tattoo she got this week, Biles also displayed a larger tattoo on her neck that reads "MADE IN HEAVEN" in thin black font, as shown in another Instagram post.

At the Paris Olympics this summer, Biles won three gold medals, making her the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history. Despite being one of the oldest competitors in Olympic gymnastics history at 27, she achieved this feat. Her gold medals marked the end of a dramatic comeback story for Biles, who withdrew from the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 due to a case of the "twisties."

I am incredibly proud of her," Owens said to Planet Chronicle Digital in July. "Seeing the effort she put in and the struggles she faced, her ability to return without fear and continue to excel is truly remarkable.

"Her confidence, training, and work ethic are reflected in her success. I eagerly anticipate witnessing her dreams materialize."

In 2020, during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, Biles and Owens started dating after meeting on the exclusive dating app Raya. At the time, Biles was residing in Houston, while Owens was playing for the Houston Texans, a team he played for from 2019 to 2022 as an undrafted player, primarily on special teams. Owens has admitted that he was not familiar with Biles when they first met. By that point, Biles had already won four Olympic gold medals.

In April 2023, the two got married and agreed to stop arguing about which sport was better, football or gymnastics.

They are in the final stages of building a mansion in Texas.

During a joint appearance with Biles on the "Pivot Podcast" in December, Owens sparked controversy about their relationship by stating that he was "the catch" in the relationship. He maintained that men are always "the catch" in relationships, regardless of differences in fame and athletic achievements.

In April, Biles stated on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast that she was present during Owens' interview and did not object to his remarks.

"I believed everything was fine until I checked Twitter and everyone was saying to divorce my husband, who is actually very kind and appreciative of me," Biles stated on the podcast, emphasizing that the public's perception was incorrect. "He's the kindest man I've ever met."

In May, Biles defended her husband from online attackers after posting a photo on social media thanking him for his support. She later addressed the backlash he was still receiving for his previous comments in an Instagram story.

"I'm going to quickly address this: the joke was never a joke! You are blatantly disrespectful to my relationship and my husband. So I'm going to say this once and respectfully, f--- off," she wrote.

If you continue to comment or tweet at me, I will block you. No, I do not need to touch grass or whatever suggestions you may have.

"We love y'all so much for everyone else who supports us."
