Penn suffers a 74-yard touchdown after Cornell executes a wild fake punt.
The game resulted in a score of 110 points.
Even on the football field, Cornell is just smarter.
In the first quarter of the Ivy League battle, Penn was trailing Cornell 7-14.
Cornell, from its own 26-yard line, faced a 4th and 8 and prepared for a punt. However, what followed left everyone in shock.
The long snapper lifted the ball and tossed it to Robert Tucker, a running back on the defensive team.
The snap went over the punter's head, causing him to act as if it was a diversion.
With a blocker up front, Tucker easily defeated the two men left after finding a hole at the line.
Tucker evaded one defender and flattened another, scoring a 74-yard touchdown to increase Cornell's lead to 21-7.
Penn then outscored Cornell 60-28 the remainder of the game.
Despite Cornell's surprise play, Penn scored on all of its final 10 drives, with eight resulting in touchdowns. In contrast, Cornell made three costly interceptions.
Penn's trickery ignited a fire, resulting in a 67-43 victory. Penn scored 19, 20, and 21 points in the second, third, and fourth quarters, respectively.
