NFL player Travis Kelce answers postseason-related questions with a Taylor Swift lyric.
The Chiefs will face off against the Texans in the divisional round on January 18th.
On Saturday, the Kansas City Chiefs will start their pursuit of a third consecutive Vince Lombardi Trophy as they host the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium in a playoff game.
The Texans defeated the Los Angeles Chargers in the wild-card round, securing their place in the divisional round. Despite being in the NFL for over a decade, Travis Kelce, 35, still feels like he has the energy of a young athlete, according to ESPN's Pat McAfee.
Kelce stated a specific number, 22, when asked about his feelings as the Chiefs prepare for the playoffs. This number is also the title of a song from Taylor Swift's album "Red."
During an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" this week, he said, "I'm feeling 22," referencing the song's lyrics.
Since the 2023 season, Chiefs games have been graced by the presence of Kelce and Swift, who have been romantically linked for over a year.
Kelce was recently named to his 10th consecutive Pro Bowl, but he may prefer to skip the event and compete in the Super Bowl in New Orleans instead.
Despite not reaching the 1,000 receiving yards mark during the regular season, Kelce seemed to improve as the year went on and played well in the playoffs.
He ended the Chiefs' Christmas Day win over the Steelers with 84 receiving yards and a touchdown catch.
Kelce has been a crucial player on three Super Bowl-winning teams, including the Chiefs' victory over the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII and their title run last year. No NFL team has ever won three consecutive Super Bowl titles.
