John Cena's farewell tour commences with a significant revelation during the Netflix debut of RAW.
Cena is not just participating in Royal Rumble 2025, he claims he will win it to secure a chance at WWE history.
John Cena's WWE departure was announced with a grand prediction.
During the Netflix premiere of "Raw" on Monday night, the Intuit Dome crowd was stunned when Cena's walk-out music played, causing them to go into a frenzy.
He announced that he would be the first entrant in the Royal Rumble 2025, thanking the Los Angeles crowd for their support over the years.
Cena does not just want to compete in the match scheduled for Feb. 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
He declared to the crowd that he would triumph in the Royal Rumble.
Cena stated that he believes he has a higher chance of winning an Academy Award than achieving the record of being a 17-time WWE Champion.
If he wins the Royal Rumble, he will automatically receive a world championship match at WrestleMania 41, allowing him to make history in WWE.
As Cena consistently states, one should never surrender. Despite the odds, he appears resolute to end his final year with a spectacular finale.
Cena's recent appearances suggest a busy schedule for him in the upcoming months, but the exact number of events he will participate in this year is unclear.
After retiring, the 47-year-old 16-time WWE champion will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
On "Raw," Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson opened the show and Roman Reigns emerged victorious over Solo Sikoa to become the new "Tribal Chief." Cody Rhodes, the current undisputed WWE champion, also made an appearance in a suit and tie to help clear out the chaos in the ring.
After Rhea Ripley won the women's world title belt from Liv Morgan, the Undertaker rode in on a motorcycle. Meanwhile, Chief Content Officer Triple H made a speech in front of the sold-out crowd and millions watching around the globe.
The new era of WWE on Netflix was marked by all the stops being pulled out on Night 1, and Cena made it clear that his goal for 2025 was to achieve.
