Jalen Hurts of the Eagles claims he does not recall the concussion incident that occurred while he was on the sidelines, during a year that has seen a rise in brain injuries.
He stated that it was so long ago that he barely remembers it.

On Sunday, he will play his first game back from concussion against the Green Bay Packers in a Wild Card playoff game.
On Friday, reporters were informed by Hurts that he couldn't recall any details about the moments following his concussion.
Hurts stated, "It's been so long ago that I can't recall the specifics," when asked about the incident that occurred during the first half of the game against the Washington Commanders in Week 16, which resulted in his concussion.
Concussions have never allowed Hurts to return before, and he shared how the experience has disrupted his usual routine.
Going through different symptoms is challenging when you're out of your daily routine, as Hurts said.
Hurts credited his faith for making it through the experience.
"I have faith, everything's fine," Hurts said.
The latest quarterback to suffer a brain injury in a scary football season is Hurts.
In a game against the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa sustained his third NFL concussion, which sparked controversy among former players and media pundits.
In December, Trevor Lawrence, the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback, sustained a concussion after being illegally hit by Azeez Al-Shaair, a Houston Texans linebacker, during a game. The hit resulted in Lawrence's season being cut short, and Al-Shaair was suspended for three games and received heavy criticism from the public and an NFL executive.
In Week 9, New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave sustained a concussion after being struck by Panthers safety Xavier Woods, and in Week 10, Falcons linebacker JD Bertrand also suffered a concussion.
In late November, a serious head injury resulted in the death of Alabama A&M University football player Medrick Burnett Jr.
In 2024, several teenagers died from brain injuries at both the high school and youth levels.
During the third quarter of their 30-22 win against Southern Academy in Selma, Alabama, in late August, Morgan Academy junior quarterback Caden Tellier sustained a head injury.
In West Virginia, a 13-year-old boy died from a head injury sustained during a middle school football practice. Cohen Craddock, an eighth-grader who played defensive line for Madison Middle School in Madison, suffered severe brain bleeding and swelling after making a tackle.
