Since 2005, Mike Tyson has not participated in a professional fight, but now, Jake Paul has challenged him.

This Friday, Tyson, who is now 58 years old and had his last pro fight before turning 40, will return to the ring in front of his largest audience yet.

Nearly 300 million Netflix subscribers will witness Tyson face off against the YouTuber-turned-boxer in front of a crowd of over 100,000 people at AT&T Stadium.

In 2020, Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. squared off in an exhibition, coincidentally, with Paul on the supporting card.

At 27, Paul is in the best shape of his life, despite criticism about his career and fights. The 29-year age gap between him and his opponent is the largest in professional boxing history.

Tyson adjusted his training regimen to slow down a bit, and he was successful in doing so.

On Tuesday, Tyson demonstrated his signature powerful jabs during his open workout, and despite being in the ring for only a few minutes, he was completely drenched in sweat, showcasing his dedication to hard work.

It appeared that Tyson did not anticipate a successful camp during his training, as he was asked about what he learned about himself.

I'm tougher than I thought I was," Tyson said in Dallas. "When I agreed to this fight, I started training and thought, 'What the f--- am I thinking?'

"The party is now the fight, as all the hard work has been completed."

In May, seven weeks before the fight, Tyson may have needed to learn more about himself due to an ulcer flareup.

In every training video Tyson has released, it is evident that he put in the effort.

It is difficult to question the self-assuredness of the "Baddest Man on the Planet," who enters the fight as an underdog.
