In the Netflix docuseries trailer, Aaron Rodgers is questioned by RFK Jr about considering a career in politics.
According to reports, RFK Jr had at one point considered Rodgers as a potential running mate.
On Netflix, the three-part docuseries "Aaron Rodgers: Enigma" by the New York Jets quarterback will be released on Dec. 17.
During his weekly appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show," the trailer for the show was released.
In the trailer, the Jets quarterback was questioned by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. about entering politics.
"Have you thought about going into politics?" Kennedy said.
Kennedy was reportedly considering Rodgers as his potential vice president during his presidential campaign, but ultimately chose Nicole Shanahan, a California lawyer and philanthropist, as his running mate.
In August, Kennedy paused his presidential campaign and backed Trump, who ultimately became the 45th President of the United States.
After winning the presidency in November, Trump appointed Kennedy to head the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Although Rodgers was not chosen as Kennedy's running mate, he stated that the documentary would be comprehensive in its content.
"During his appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show," Rodgers expressed gratitude for the past year, particularly the conversation he had with Gotham after getting hurt. He also enjoyed having Gotham along for the ride, as well as meeting some amazing people like Liam and Sarah."
"The documentary covers a lot of the rehab process, including a trip to Costa Rica for Ayahuasca. It also includes backstory from my 18 years in Green Bay and interesting interviews. The episodes cover a range of topics."
"Although it was vulnerable to open up and allow others to be around, I'm excited about the experience. I haven't seen the final cuts, but I'm grateful for the people I've met and the history of the most difficult and rewarding year of my life. In 20 years, I'll look back on this experience with gratitude."
The Jets are currently 3-9 and have lost three games in a row. Rodgers has struggled this season, completing 62.5% of his passes for 2,627 yards while throwing 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
After the Jets' 26-21 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich was questioned about the possibility of switching quarterbacks.
Ulbrich replied, "Not yet," leaving the door open for a change.
On Monday, Ulbrich rejected a possible alteration, asserting his confidence in Rodgers and stating that he provides the team with the greatest chance of success.
On Sunday, the Jets will attempt to halt their decline when they face the Miami Dolphins away from home.
