If the Kansas City Chiefs win their third consecutive Super Bowl, Travis Kelce may retire, according to an ESPN analyst.

Despite a slight decline in production in 2024, the Chiefs remain determined to win a Super Bowl title.

ESPN football analyst Dan Orlovsky shared his opinion on whether Travis Kelce, a star player for the Kansas City Chiefs, should retire sooner or later.

Kelce, 35, completed his 12th season in the league. Despite finishing the regular season with 823 receiving yards, he failed to reach the 1,000-yard receiving mark for the second consecutive year.

Kelce has received Pro Bowl honors for ten consecutive years and remains a productive player, but he is closer to the end of his football career than he is to the beginning. The Chiefs are pursuing an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl championship, and if they win the Vince Lombardi Trophy next month, Orlovsky believes that Kelce may consider retiring.

"I believe Kelce has the potential to be a game-changer, and he still has one impressive performance left, according to Orlovsky on 'First Take' on ESPN."

If Travis Kelce delivers a vintage performance and leads his team to a three-peat, retirement may become a reality for him.

"If he were to accomplish nothing more, he would be considered the greatest tight end of all time. He was part of the Chiefs' three-peat in NFL history and is later in his career. There would be nothing left to accomplish, and he has one elite, great, difference-maker, vintage run left in him."

On "The Stephen A. Smith Show," Kelce admitted that his thoughts on retirement fluctuate, but he plans to re-evaluate his decision once he heads into the offseason.

"Kelce stated, "I love everything I'm doing, but I'm not experiencing the extreme success I desire on the field. Despite this, I'm excited for the upcoming games and will re-evaluate my feelings at the end of the season. I'll likely tell myself how much I love this and plan to return next year.""

Kelce stated that Taylor Swift continues to support him in his playing career by encouraging him to enjoy the game.

The three-time Super Bowl winner stated that he had all the support he needed to continue pursuing his dreams, before adding that the "Anti-Hero" singer enjoys attending games to watch him and the Chiefs play.
