During her 'College GameDay' appearance, LSU's Livvy Dunne criticized Nick Saban for his comments about Vanderbilt.
Saban was criticized by Dunne for claiming that Vanderbilt was the easiest school to play at.
This week, Nick Saban was compelled to revisit his regrettable remarks about Vanderbilt.
On Saturday, LSU national champion gymnast Livvy Dunne and her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates star pitcher Paul Skenes, served as the celebrity pickers on ESPN's "College GameDay." It was Dunne who criticized former Alabama coach Nick Saban for his previous comments about the school's football program.
Vanderbilt is the only SEC football stadium where it's not difficult to play, according to Saban, who made this statement on "The Pat McAfee Show" in September.
"That is the truth, and it does not disrespect them."
When Dunne picked the Commodores to defeat South Carolina at home, Vanderbilt fans were already upset and the selection only added to their frustration.
Dunne said that Vanderbilt was once considered the easiest place to play in the SEC, but not anymore. He's choosing Vanderbilt.
Last month, Saban's comments about Vanderbilt upsetting Alabama, 40-53, for their first victory over the Crimson Tide since 1984 quickly backfired.
A goal post was torn down and carried out of the stadium by fans who had stormed the field. Before leaving, Saban's September comments were played on the jumbotron.
After a win at Auburn, Vanderbilt is back in the Top 25, and a win on Saturday would make South Carolina eligible for a bowl game as well.
