At the UEFA Nations League game between Israel and France, some French fans booed during the Israeli national anthem, resulting in minor altercations.
Before the match between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Ajax in Amsterdam, increased security and police presence were established due to previous attacks on Israeli supporters.
Over 4,000 French security officers were stationed both inside and outside the stadium, as well as on public transportation.
The Israeli government advised its citizens to avoid attending sporting and cultural events, including the upcoming soccer match, following the attacks in Amsterdam.
Approximately 100 Israeli spectators were observed in a section of Stade de France, with an attendance of 16,611, far below its 80,000-person capacity.
As the match began, the Israeli national anthem was played, prompting some "boos and whistles" from the crowd.
Hamas continues to hold Israeli hostages, prompting supporters to wave yellow balloons and chant "Free the Hostages" during a rally in Israel.
Near the Israeli fans during the match, a fight occurred, with some throwing punches, as reported by Reuters.
In Saint-Denis, Paris, there was already tension before the match, with protesters waving Palestinian flags among others as Team Israel arrived.
After attacks in Amsterdam, Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon gave an exclusive statement to Planet Chronicle Digital on Nov. 7.
"In 2024, a pogrom against Jews and Israelis is taking place in Amsterdam, as stated by Danon. This must be stopped immediately. The phrase "Globalize the intifada" was not just a slogan for these terrorist supporters. I urge the Dutch government to assist all Israelis and Jewish people immediately. It is time to respond with force against these barbaric rioters."
The Israeli Embassy to the U.S. posted a graphic video of the violence and stated, "The mob who targeted those innocent Israelis has proudly shared their violent acts."
Rep. Ritchie Torres, D-N.Y., condemned the violence in a post on Twitter.
"The 21st-century pogrom has resulted in the blood of those inciting antisemitism on their hands, and the Israeli government is taking action to rescue Jews in danger. I am nauseated that this is happening in the present day."
The terrorist attack on Israel by Hamas occurred 13 months ago, resulting in the deaths and kidnappings of hundreds.
