On Tuesday, Tim Tebow and his wife Demi-Leigh Tebow revealed that they are expecting their first child.
The Tebows and Demi-Leigh shared a video on social media, announcing their upcoming child. The couple was ecstatic in the clip and seemed ready to embark on the next chapter of their lives.
Demi-Leigh expressed her and her partner's excitement in an interview with People magazine, published Tuesday, stating, "We are thrilled to be welcoming a baby into our lives together."
""I'm so grateful that Tim is my husband because we get to do parenting together and raise a little tiny human being together," she added."
She told People she is 16 weeks pregnant.
The two added that it was "surreal" to think about becoming parents. They each spoke glowingly of one another when discussing why their partner would make great parents.
Tim pointed to Demi-Leigh’s fierceness.
"She will be extremely loyal and loving. Demi is someone that is extremely determined," he said. "When she sets her mind to something, she goes all the way in — and I know that she will do that as a mom, too."
Her husband was described as "extremely gracious" and "one of the most thoughtful people" by Demi-Leigh.
She stated that she believes he is one of the wisest people she has met, despite it being a bold claim. She emphasized that she truly believes this because of the way he approaches every day.
