Dana White, UFC president, will introduce Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention.

Dana White became the president of the UFC in 2001 after his childhood friends, Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta, bought the MMA fighting promotion for $2 million and appointed him as the head of the organization.

In 2023, White was appointed as the CEO of the UFC.

Under Dana White's leadership, the UFC grew to be worth over $11 billion, making him a successful businessman.

Some of the most iconic UFC matches during White's tenure include Rousey vs Carmouche, Alvarez vs McGregor, and UFC 261 between Usman and Masvidal.

According to MMA Mania, the UFC 229 main card between Khabib Nurmagomedov and McGregor generated 2.4 million buys on Oct. 6, 2018.

During an interview with Bill Maher in April, White stated that he has "done well" and clarified that he is not actually a billionaire, despite his net worth being unclear.

Since they met in grade school, Manchester, Connecticut, native John and his wife, Anne, have been together. They got married in 1996.

Dana III and Aidan White are both athletes, with Dana III playing safety for the University of San Diego Toreros and Aidan being an amateur boxer. Little is known about Savannah White, as she keeps her personal life private on social media.

In early 2023, a physical altercation between the Whites was recorded and posted online, making headlines.

"On New Year's Eve, my wife and I were out on Saturday night and unfortunately, that's what happened, White said in a video to TMZ. As a guy, I've always said there's never an excuse for putting hands on a woman, and now I'm here on TMZ talking about it."

In the video, White is shown striking Anne, and she is recorded hitting him back.

He stated, "Although I'm embarrassed, the current situation calls for us to prioritize our children's well-being."

Shaquille O'Neal, Olivia Munn, and Kid Rock are among White's friend group, which is made up of many A-list celebrities who are also fans of the UFC.

Trump family members have also featured him on their social media accounts.

In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the last night of the 2024 Republican National Convention, White will speak as a vocal supporter of President Trump, whom he considers a friend. He will follow Hulk Hogan and Eric Trump's remarks and introduce the former president.

In Sardinia, Italy, White spent a few days before heading to Milwaukee.

Just days before his RNC appearance, White posted a photograph of Trump on Instagram, calling him an "American bad a--" after a gunman opened fire during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on July 13.

Trump was shot in the ear and rushed to a nearby hospital.

"I'm on a plane to Italy and my phone has been buzzing with text messages about @realdonaldtrump being shot. I'm feeling nauseous and stunned, unsure of the extent of his injuries or if he's okay."

Following the assassination attempt, individuals from various backgrounds donated to a Trump-approved GoFundMe page for the victims of the rally shooting. Corey Comperatore, a volunteer firefighter, tragically lost his life while protecting his family from bullets, and two others were injured.

The UFC and GoFundMe each received $50,000 from White.

Trump is expected to officially accept the Republican nomination for president Thursday night.
