Dana White says that Trump represents the essence of what it means to be American.
Those who spoke at the pre-inauguration rally in DC were not white.
On Sunday night in Washington, UFC President Dana White praised President-elect Trump ahead of his inauguration.
At the Capital One Arena, home to the Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals, and Georgetown Hoyas, White discussed Trump's victory in the election despite facing every possible obstacle as a presidential candidate.
"The people have spoken loudly and clearly. America wants President Trump back in the White House. Consider this: Triumphing in this election, despite everything that has transpired in the past few years, is an astounding accomplishment and an awe-inspiring comeback tale," he remarked.
President Trump faced numerous challenges, including the media, prosecutors, and assassins, but he persevered and emerged victorious.
Ultimately, it boils down to the fact that Trump is a "winner," as White stated.
However, you understand that this individual is a winner. I frequently assert that he is the strongest and most resilient person I have ever encountered. Despite any obstacles, he relentlessly fought for the country he cherishes.
"He embodies the essence of what it means to be American: our unwavering toughness, resilience, and ability to overcome any obstacle when we come together as a nation."
Over the years, White and Trump have strengthened their bond. Early on in UFC, Trump was a major supporter of White. In return, White has backed Trump's presidential campaigns.
At the Republican National Convention and the rally at Madison Square Garden, White spoke before the election.
