Coco Gauff has disclosed her top music artists and albums for 2021 through Apple Music Replay, which generates a summary of users' listened-to music in the past year.

Gauff is frequently seen streaming music by Beyoncé, Tyler the Creator, and Frank Ocean, as per a post on his social media platform. In October, Tyler the Creator famously name-dropped Gauff in his single "Thought I Was Dead," which was featured on his studio album "Chromakopia."

Guaff, currently ranked third in women's tennis, defended herself against criticism following her Apple Music Replay reveal. In a post on X on Thursday, the 20-year-old questioned, "Why do everyone hate Apple Music?"

Apple's audio and video streaming service offers several benefits, but Gauff pointed out that Spotify users may face issues with the competing streamer.

Our top albums, top genres, spatial audio, and monthly replay report are all available on Spotify. While I appreciate the platform, some of its users dislike seeing an Apple Music screenshot.

Gauff has been attending live music events when not on the tennis court. Recently, she was seen at the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in Los Angeles.

Coco Gauff celebrates
Coco Gauff celebrates after defeating Tunisias Ons Jabeur during their fourth round match on day 9 of the French Open tennis tournament at Roland Garros in Paris on Monday, June 7, 2021.

"The tennis star stated last year that her partnership with Bose was an easy decision for her because she listens to music daily, especially during competition, and uses headphones to focus and enter a zone."

In the Women's Tennis Association Finals, Gauff emerged victorious over Zhen Qinwen to claim the title last month.
