In his 12th season in the NFL, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs seemed to be approaching the end of his career as his performance declined.

Despite facing criticism throughout the season, including accusations of being washed up and spending too much time with Taylor Swift, Kelce had an impressive performance with 97 catches for 823 yards and three touchdowns in 16 games.

As the season neared its end, Kelce remained healthy and only missed one game. With retirement rumors swirling, Kelce was questioned about Swift's thoughts on him retiring.

The 10-time Pro Bowler stated on "The Stephen A. Smith Show" that Swift is fully encouraging him to enjoy playing the game and loves coming to Arrowhead Stadium for games.

"I have the backing of everyone to continue pursuing these aspirations."

Kelce has considered leaving, but his thoughts "evolve daily."

In Chiefs history, he holds the record for the most successful tight end, surpassing Tony Gonzalez's franchise records.
