Charles Barkley's weight loss is the subject of a hilarious quip from Shaq: "Ozempic FBI!"
Barkley confessed to using a weight loss drug to manage his Type 2 diabetes.
Shaquille O'Neal made a quip about Charles Barkley's weight loss to his colleague.
On Tuesday's "Inside the NBA," Jalen Rose discussed how O'Neal shared with Alonzo Mourning that he drinks low-fat milk, which prompted Barkley to make a joke about O'Neal.
"You already got the fat cut," Barkley said to him.
O'Neal made a joke about Barkley's use of Ozempic for weight loss.
""Ozempic, I'm snitching, he's right here!" O'Neal exclaimed, causing laughter on the panel."
Barkley is not taking Ozempic, as he stated on "The Dan Patrick Show" last year that he is using Mounjaro, a similar medication, to manage his Type 2 diabetes.
Tirzepatide, branded as Mounjaro, aids in weight loss by reducing hunger and enhancing the body's ability to break down sugar and fat.
Barkley stated that both exercise and medication have aided him in losing weight.
""At 352 pounds, I began my journey and now weigh 290 pounds. I feel more like a human being than a fat person," Barkley stated."
The upcoming season of "Inside the NBA" on ESPN will be a continuation of the fun that includes cracking jokes, as TNT Sports has made a deal with the Connecticut-based network.
Recently, Barkley was caught off guard by the ESPN move and learned about it on the internet instead of from the network itself.
"We must hear it through the media," he stated on "The Bettor Angle" on BetQL network. "Even the ABC/ESPN thing, I learned about it online. My friends Scott Van Pelt, Brian Windhorst, Elle Duncan, Bob Myers all texted me to welcome me to the ESPN family. I was like, 'What happened?' TNT didn't even bother to inform me."
