Bengals and Ravens engage in a thrilling battle, with the Ravens ultimately emerging victorious.
In the fourth quarter, 34 points were scored, leaving Baltimore trailing 21-7.
The recent "Thursday Night Football" game may have been one of the best in recent memory for NFL fans.
The Ravens and Bengals engaged in a thrilling matchup that resembled a Madden game, with the Ravens ultimately emerging victorious by a narrow margin of 35-34 in a classic game played on their home field.
With five-and-a-half minutes remaining, a 70-yard Ja'Marr Chase touchdown tied the game. However, the Bengals missed a crucial interception, giving Baltimore a second chance. Lamar Jackson capitalized on this opportunity and found Rashod Bateman with 1:49 left, taking a 35-28 lead.
Despite his efforts, Joe Burrow marched down the field and found Chase with only 38 seconds remaining for their third touchdown of the night - their first being a 67-yard score.
Cincy was aggressive all night, and this was no different, as the offense stayed on the field to go for two. However, the pass to Tanner Hudson fell incomplete, despite Chase having 11 catches for 264 yards and three touchdowns. The refs probably missed a roughing the passer call and a defensive pass interference, but alas. Cincy tried for the onside kick, but the Ravens recovered, all but ending an instant classic.
In all, 34 points were scored in the fourth quarter alone.
In the fourth quarter, Tylan Wallace scored an 84-yard touchdown but missed the PAT, leaving the Bengals leading 21-14. On their next drive, the Bengals attempted a deep pass that fell incomplete, giving the Ravens possession with just over nine minutes remaining.
Lamar Jackson scored a touchdown by finding the resurgent Mark Andrews, followed by a two-point conversion, making it 28-21 Baltimore. However, the very next play resulted in a 70-yard score by Chase.
The Bengals scored on their first drive of the game, after a defensive holding on fourth and goal gave them an automatic first at the 1-yard line; Chase Brown finished the job to put Cincy up 7-0. Baltimore answered relatively quickly, as Lamar Jackson found Nelson Agholor to tie the game. Both offenses stalled, but late in the first half, Joe Burrow found Tanner Hudson to give Cincinnati a 14-7 lead heading into the locker room.
In the third quarter, the Bengals scored a 67-yard touchdown, taking a two-score lead. However, two drives later, Cincinnati lost a fumble, and the Ravens capitalized, with Derrick Henry scoring a one-yard touchdown to make it a one-possession game again.
In the game, the MVP in Jackson completed 25 out of 33 passes for 290 yards and four touchdowns, all to different receivers. Meanwhile, Burrow's 428 yards and four scores came in a tough loss, as the Bengals defense struggled to contain the offense.
In their initial encounter this season, Baltimore emerged victorious with a score of 41-38.
The Ravens have won two straight games, despite losing to the Browns on the road, while the Bengals have struggled against contenders and are now at 4-6.
In Week 11, Baltimore will face Pittsburgh in another division matchup, while Cincy will go to Los Angeles to play the Chargers.
