Aaron Rodgers is criticized by a Super Bowl champ for his "smugness" during a season of poor performance by the Jets.
The Seahawks won Sunday's game against the Jets.
On Sunday, the New York Jets, led by Aaron Rodgers, suffered another heartbreaking loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Despite leading 21-6 in the second quarter, the Jets failed to score in the second half, allowing the Seahawks to come back and win with a final score of 26-21.
Leonard Williams, a defensive lineman for the Seahawks, intercepted a pass from Rodgers and returned it for a touchdown.
Willie Colon, a former Jets offensive lineman, evaluated Rodgers' recent performances while maintaining his usual personality.
Aaron Rodgers has always been smug and cocky, but his play hasn't been matching up with his attitude, according to Colon.
If you are a Jets' fan, you have every right to be upset because you've endured the Zach Wilson era. You were promised by Joe Douglas and his regime that once you acquire Aaron Rodgers, the struggles would end.
"If you are a Jets fan, you must be furious with Aaron Rodgers because when we give you the ball, he performs like Kobe Bryant in game-winning situations, making this an easy win for us. However, our defense is not great."
The Pittsburgh Steelers' Colon criticized the Jets' decision-making, stating that despite having Davante Adams, the team went 1-5 after firing Robert Saleh and failed to inspire fans with their offense.
"He added that the quarterback who will be wearing a gold jacket one day is the worst in the NFL. If you are a Jets fan, burn the whole damn thing up. Burn the whole building up, nothing makes sense. Everything is worse than it was before."
Rodgers said after the game it came down to execution.
"The end of the second quarter cost us the game, but it's execution, strain, accuracy, and little things that matter in the fourth quarter," Rodgers said. "We all have a lot to work on, including myself."
