A $1.3 million wager on Kansas City to defeat the Bills in the AFC Championship game was confidently placed by a bettor.
Chiefs have a 3-0 record against Josh Allen in playoffs.
One bold bettor believes that history will repeat itself when the Kansas City Chiefs host the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship game this weekend.
The Chiefs are aiming to achieve their first-ever three-peat, and one confident sports bettor predicts that they will secure a victory over the Bills on Sunday afternoon, just as they did in the AFC Championship game in 2021.
A $1.3 million wager on the Chiefs moneyline (-130) at Caesars Sportsbook would result in a total payout of $2.3 million.
Currently, the Bills have a +114 moneyline, while the Chiefs are favored to win by -1.5.
If we’re judging history, the Chiefs are the safe bet.
Patrick Mahomes and his team have been to seven consecutive AFC Championship games, winning four of the last five and three Super Bowls, including two in a row. Now, they aim to become the first NFL team to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy in three consecutive seasons.
"Mahomes stated, "Winning three in a row is certainly a goal, but creating lasting memories with teammates and the community is equally important. Looking back on our past Super Bowl victories, I cherish the unique moments and games we've shared. We'll strive to recreate those experiences this season.""
In the last four playoff runs, three of Buffalo's have ended due to the rivalry between the Bills and Chiefs, with losses in the AFC Championship game in 2021, an overtime loss in the divisional round in 2022, and another narrow loss in the divisional round last season.
If the Bills continue their current performance in the regular season, they could become the underdogs in 2025.
