Grateful Dead bassist and one of the band's founders, Phil Lesh, has passed away.
He was 84 years old.
His official Instagram page confirmed his death, stating that he passed away peacefully this morning with his family by his side and surrounded by love.
"Lesh family requests privacy at this time as Phil's legacy of music and love continues to bring immense joy to those around him."
