At 69, Donatella Versace radiates youth with her stunning new look.
At the London premiere of 'The Devil Wears Prada' musical, Versace received acclaim for her youthful appearance.
On Sunday in London, Donatella Versace left fans in awe with her youthful appearance.
At the charity gala premiere of "The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical" at the Dominion Theatre, the 69-year-old Versace creative director wore a semi-sheer long-sleeved copper-colored dress with sequined fringe over a strapless black bodysuit.
The fashion designer wore sheer black stockings with tall brown platform boots, accessorized with gold star earrings, and had soft makeup with shimmery dark gold eyeshadow and a nude lip.
Instead of her signature platinum-blonde straight hairstyle, Versace had shoulder-length waves in a warmer tone.
Following the red carpet photos of Versace, many people praised her natural appearance on social media.
"I'm glad she changed her makeup routine and she looks amazing," one user commented.
"Another person remarked, "I'm glad she stopped wearing the black smokey eye because it was too harsh on her mature skin and lighter hair.""
The lighter makeup significantly enhances her facial appearance and is a significant improvement on its own, as one commenter noted.
A subtle touch may be enough to turn heads, as one social media user commented.
Another added, "She looks better than she did in 2014."
The "The Devil Wears Prada" musical's charity gala premiere, held on World AIDS Day, supported the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Besides Versace, many other stars attended, including John and his spouse David Furnish, Elizabeth Hurley, Lily Collins, Vanessa Williams, Luke Evans, fashion designers Zandra Rhodes and Betsey Johnson, and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
The musical is a version of the 2006 romantic comedy film "The Devil Wears Prada," which was inspired by Lauren Weisberger's 2003 book of the same name.
Wintour served as an inspiration for the demanding and powerful fashion magazine editor-in-chief character in Weisberger's novel.
Meryl Streep, who won the best actress Golden Globe Award and was nominated for the best actress Oscar, played Priestly in the movie. The film also featured Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt.
The Elton John Aids Foundation supports individuals with HIV/AIDS by offering treatment, assistance, and services, while also working to eradicate the disease's stigma, as stated on its website.
Versace posted red carpet photos from the premiere on Instagram, including group shots with John, Furnish, Wintour, and Williams. She also shared videos from the red carpet and the performance.
The Opening Night Gala of the Devil Wears Prada Musical is recognizing #WorldAIDSDay in support of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, with Versace, a longtime supporter, writing about the importance of compassion in the caption of one post.
"We are grateful to the amazing cast and crew of @pradawestend, as well as all those who have been with us for this unforgettable evening."
Versace wrote in the caption of her other post, "R.S.V.P. YES The Devil Wears Prada for its Opening Gala Night. @eltonjohn you are a genius. I was hooked from the first note to the last. The show is mesmerizing."
I am proud to stand with @eltonjohn, @davidfurnish and @ejaf as co-chair of The Rocket Fund on this World AIDS Day.
"Up to $300,000 in donations to the Foundation will be matched by me until December 31. Today, all donations will be matched 3X, so let's make history in style!"
On Gianni Versace's birthday, Versace honored her late brother, the founder of the fashion house, who was tragically killed at the age of 50 in 1997.
Gianni's spirit continues to fill every corner of Versace's world. She will always miss him, as she captioned a black and white photo of herself with her brother on his birthday.
