Jon Bon Jovi saves woman from jumping off a bridge during a crisis.
In Nashville, a music video was being filmed by 'Keep the Faith' singer Jon Bon Jovi.
On Tuesday, Jon Bon Jovi assisted in persuading a woman not to jump off a bridge in Nashville.
A moment of crisis was witnessed by the "Livin' on a Prayer" singer while filming a music video on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
"Metro Nashville Police Department officials thanked @jonbonjovi and his team for assisting a woman on the Seigenthaler Ped Bridge Tue night. Bon Jovi helped convince her to safely come off the ledge over the Cumberland River."
"All of us must work together to ensure our safety," said Chief John Drake.
Bon Jovi has been helping others for years. In 2006, he founded the JBJ Soul Foundation, which aims to help people affected by hunger, poverty, and homelessness by providing food, affordable housing, social services, and job training programs.
The nonprofit, which started as a small initiative in Philadelphia, has now grown to serve thousands of people across 12 states, including youth and veterans.
The Soul Foundation's mission has been expanded to provide a warm and nutritious meal to those in need, with three JBJ Soul Kitchens now operating in New Jersey.
