Someone was caught recording up Shakira's skirt at a Miami nightclub, causing her to leave the stage.
Shakira, the "Hips Don't Lie" singer, was seen at the LIV Miami nightclub over the weekend, where she celebrated her upcoming single, "Soltera," by dancing on stage to the unreleased hit.
A fan video posted online showed Shakira stopping to dance when she saw someone possibly recording up her skirt. She grabbed at her skirt hem several times before wagging her fingers at an unidentified person in the crowd.
The pop star gestured to her eyes and said "I see you" before continuing her dance.
After motioning that she was finished, Shakira exited the stage shortly after.
Shakira's photo and video team was the target of her request to stop filming her while she was enjoying the moment with the crowd and fans, according to a statement shared with Page Six by LIV Nightclub.
Planet Chronicle Digital reached out to Shakira and the club for comment.
Earlier this year, Shakira won a significant victory in her tax dispute.
Prosecutors, who initially made the accusations, later stated that there was insufficient evidence of a potential financial crime.
In November, Shakira resolved a separate tax evasion matter with the Spanish government. According to prosecutors, the Colombian singer spent more than half of her time in Barcelona from 2012 to 2014 and owed $15.4 million in taxes.
On the first day of trial, Shakira opted for a deal even though she had previously rejected an offer. As a result, she was fined 7 million euros ($7.6 million) and received a three-year suspended sentence. Additionally, she was fined an extra 432,000 euros ($472,000).
Shakira, following her separation from soccer star Gerard Piqué, now resides in Miami after spending time in Spain.
