Chappell Roan, the VMA winner, confronted a photographer on the red carpet and demanded that they stop taking pictures.
Previously, the 'Good Luck, Babe!' singer had accused fans of stalking and harassment.
Chappell Roan clashed with a photographer at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards.
On Wednesday night, a photographer yelled at Roan, "Shut the f--- up" while the pop star was posing for photos on the red carpet.
After the photographer made a crass comment, she turned around, pointed her finger at him, and said, "Shut up."
The singer responded with "Don't! Not me, b----!" as a voice in the background cheered her on, saying, "Tell 'em, girl!"

The 26-year-old later explained what happened during the tense encounter.
"This is quite overwhelming and quite scary. For someone who gets a lot of anxiety around people yelling at you, the carpet is horrifying and I yelled back. You don't get to yell at me like that." — Chappell Roan
"Roan told Entertainment Tonight that the situation was both overwhelming and scary. He explained that, as someone who experiences a lot of anxiety when people shout at him, the carpet was particularly terrifying. As a result, Roan yelled back, stating that he didn't appreciate being shouted at in that manner."
Roan wore a sheer maroon dress on the red carpet, which was part of her medieval-inspired look that included a sword, light green cloak, a large cross necklace, and long pointy fingernails.
She sang her popular hit "Good Luck, Babe!" and won the best new artist award during the show.
The singer of the "Pink Pony Club" had a viral red carpet moment after accusing some fans of stalking, harassment, and "predatory behavior" in scathing social media posts.
"After a decade of relentlessly working on my project, I've reached a point where I need to establish boundaries and prioritize my well-being. My ultimate goal is to become an artist for life," she stated in a lengthy Instagram post.
"Women do not owe you anything, and I chose this career because I love music and art, honoring my inner child. I do not accept harassment of any kind because I chose this path, and I do not deserve it."
Roan addressed fans after she received "nonconsensual physical and social interactions."
The singer emphasized that "predatory behavior" is often disguised as "superfan" behavior in her statement.
"Please cease touching me. Please refrain from behaving strangely towards my loved ones and acquaintances. Please desist from making assumptions about me," she implored.
""I feel the most unsafe I have ever felt in my life, but I also feel more love than I ever have in my life. Please don't call me Kayleigh, as that is my legal first name. I am scared and tired, and there is always more to the story," she added."
The singer gained fame after her 2024 Coachella performance went viral, and now has 4 million followers on Instagram and 3 million on TikTok.
