Carly Pearce stands up for fan removal from concert: "Meanness won't be tolerated"
Last week, a heckler was blasted and kicked out of a country singer's concert.
Carly Pearce has spoken out about removing a heckler from her concert after confronting him.
On Friday, a 34-year-old musician at WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, verbally abused a fan before ejecting him from the performance.
In a recent interview with People magazine, Pearce expressed her views on the incident, stating that individuals should be held accountable for their actions.
The "I Hope You're Happy Now" hitmaker stated that being mean to people won't be tolerated.
As women, we are often conditioned to accept mistreatment, but we deserve to be able to stand up for ourselves and challenge this stigma.
"I hope that individuals become more considerate in their communication."
A video of a heated argument was posted on X, showing a man being escorted out of the Soo Pass Ranch during a festival.
""You're an a--hole, get out of my show," Pearce shouted from the stage, pointing directly at someone."
"I don't have time for nonsense," she declared, earning applause from the audience. "Take care!"
Pearce's representative did not respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's inquiry about the incident, which was sparked by a man shouting "No one cares" while Pearce was speaking directly to the crowd about her life.
After being kicked out of the show, a video shows Pearce apologizing to her father, who had attended the event and was in attendance.
"If you're an a--hole, you have to leave, I'm sorry Daddy."
"The Grammy Award-winner queried her lively audience, "As I was saying, are we having a good time so far?" She hailed from a small town in Kentucky and had always dreamt of singing country music since she was five years old."
Since 2017, Pearce has been gaining popularity and achieving success, with her single "Every Little Thing" reaching the number five spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and topping the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
She has won a total of 12 awards, including a Grammy, three Country Music Association Awards, four Academy of Country Music Awards, and one CMT Award.
The singer is currently performing with country musician Tim McGraw. Their next concert is in Albuquerque on Aug. 24.
