Kate Middleton resumes her royal duties following cancer announcement.
The Princess of Wales, who disclosed her cancer diagnosis in March, announced she is cancer-free on September 9.
Kate Middleton has returned to work days after revealing she is cancer-free.
On Tuesday, September 17, the Princess of Wales met with her team at the Centre for Early Childhood, as reported by The Telegraph via the Court Circular.
The Princess of Wales, as Joint Patron of the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, held an Early Years Meeting at Windsor Castle this afternoon.
According to The Times, Middleton is planning to handle a few responsibilities for the remainder of the year.
Kensington Palace confirmed the accuracy of The Telegraph's report on the Duchess of Cambridge's upcoming engagements and stated that any additional details would be posted on the Court Circular online.
The mother of three posted a health update on social media on Sept. 9.
"The end of summer brings a sense of relief as I have completed my chemotherapy treatment, wrote the 42-year-old. The past nine months have been challenging for our family, with life changing unexpectedly and requiring us to adapt to new circumstances."
"William and I have been reminded to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. This time has brought us face to face with our own vulnerabilities in a way we have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything. The cancer journey is complex, scary, and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you."
"Although I have completed chemotherapy, my journey to complete healing and full recovery is still a long way off, and I must take each day as it comes. However, I am excited to return to work and participate in more public engagements in the coming months. Despite everything that has happened, I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and a greater appreciation for life."
"We are deeply grateful for the support we have received and have found great strength from those who are helping us during this difficult time. The kindness, empathy, and compassion of everyone has been truly humbling. To those who are also facing their own cancer journey, I stand with you, hand in hand. Through the darkness, there is always a glimmer of hope, so let that light shine bright."
Since her public announcement of her diagnosis in March, Middleton has kept a low profile.
"Our family has faced some tough times in the past few months," she stated in a video. "However, I am grateful for the excellent medical care I have received from my team, who have been a great help to me."
She mentioned her work, stating that it has always given her immense pleasure and she is eager to return when she recovers fully. However, for the time being, she must concentrate on her recovery.
In July, Middleton returned to Wimbledon with Princess Charlotte and watched the Men's Final Match between Alcaraz and Djokovic.
Pippa Middleton, her sister, joined them to watch the highly anticipated match.
"It's wonderful to be back at Wimbledon! There's nothing quite like The Championships," Middleton wrote in a social media post about her return.
