As a teenager, Nicole Kidman struggled with body image issues and faced teasing from others.
Actress 'The Perfect Couple' reveals she always aspired to be '5’2" and curvy' as a child.
Nicole Kidman opened up about her body insecurities as a teenager.
At a young age, the "Perfect Couple" actress experienced bullying due to her height and figure.
"At 14 years old, I was a red-headed, fair-skinned girl who stood almost 5’11," she stated in the documentary series "In Vogue: The 90s." "I was often teased, and it was not a kind experience."
Kidman admitted that she wished she was more petite until designers wanted to work with her, as she was featured in a fashion project.
"Wow, I can't believe it," Kidman said. "My entire life, I dreamed of being 5'2" and curvy, but now, at 5'11" and completely flat-chested, I'm like, 'Great, we can dress you.'"

John Galliano, who designed Princess Diana's 1996 Met Gala look, selected Kidman to wear his next creation.
She continued to discuss who her Hollywood fashion idols were.
Kidman stated that she grew up admiring Audrey Hepburn, Katharine Hepburn, and Grace Kelly, all of whom had their unique styles created with the designers they worked with.
"Fashion was their passion. I recall thinking, but of course, it should be brought to Hollywood, and we should wear clothes made in the beautiful salons in Paris. After all, that's what they used to do, so why aren't we still doing it?"
Elizabeth Hurley, a British actress, discussed her daring Versace safety pin dress in the documentary.
At the 1994 premiere of "Four Weddings and a Funeral," Hurley attracted attention with her boyfriend Hugh Grant.
"That night, I was photographed 800,000 billion times. The following day, we were featured on the front page of every newspaper, leaving us bewildered and asking, "What the hell is this?""
She continued, 'I remember I was just thinking, 'What?' then going, 'Well, it was actually a pretty daring dress, wasn't it?'
