Tulsi Gabbard discusses Trump's debate preparation: "He's well-versed in the issues"
During a 2019 Democratic primary debate, Harris was criticized by Gabbard, resulting in a viral moment.
On Friday, Tulsi Gabbard, the former Hawaii Congresswoman, stated that former President Trump's debate preparation is progressing well, according to a report by Planet Chronicle.
Kamala Harris's record has been closely scrutinized by voters, and her policies have been criticized for their negative impact on the economy and safety, both domestically and internationally. This was emphasized by a Fox & Friends co-host during a recent interview.
The former president enlisted Gabbard's assistance in honing his abilities before the highly-anticipated Sept. 10 debate, where he will go up against Vice President Kamala Harris at the National Constitutional Center in Philadelphia.
During a 2019 Democratic primary debate, Gabbard criticized Harris for imprisoning hundreds of Californians for marijuana offenses, despite her own use of the drug.
During the viral exchange, she admitted to putting over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when asked if she ever smoked marijuana.
Trump has gained support from other former Democrats, including Gabbard.
There are rumors that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will drop out of the presidential race and endorse the former president on Friday.
Gabbard also weighed in on that speculation.
"His supporters are individuals who prioritize individuality, freedom, and are alarmed by the actions of President Biden and Vice President Harris, which they believe are leading the country towards the precipice of multiple regime change wars, the brink of World War III and nuclear war. They are also concerned about the dysfunctional healthcare system and the widespread corruption that has infiltrated almost every government agency," she stated.
"We'll wait for Bobby Kennedy's decision and not take any vote for granted. We must convince his supporters of the stark difference between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. While Kamala Harris advocates for stripping away our liberties, Donald Trump champions peace, prosperity, and freedom."
