MSNBC reports that Putin will be impressed by the US electing a Black woman, a "product of mixed marriage."
Vice President Kamala Harris was praised as an inspiration by retired US Army brigadier general Steven Anderson.
When Vice President Kamala Harris is elected, Russian President Vladimir Putin will know that the U.S. is committed to democracy.
During a segment on MSNBC's "Deadline: White House" on Tuesday, Anderson stated that Harris, as president, would inspire world leaders, including America's adversaries, due to her diverse background.
"Vladimir Putin supporters will argue that Kamala Harris represents a democratic country that is fighting for its people, as they say, 'Hey, wait a minute, these guys truly have a democratic country,'" he said.
The former general contended that selecting Harris as president would enhance the country's national security status significantly, compared to the time under Trump, whom he deemed "completely unfit."
While traveling abroad for work and business, I am frequently asked, 'Is it true that Donald Trump could return to the White House? A man like him, with his boorish behavior?'
"Unfortunately, many people rely on everything he says."
Anderson argued that Kamala Harris would be the opposite of what he was looking for because she was an inspiration. He attributed this to her racial identity.
"The former military official stated that electing a Black woman, who is the product of a mixed marriage and brings hope and optimism, will inspire millions of people worldwide and give the U.S. credibility."
Anderson declared that our country's greatness would allow a woman to become the President of the United States, sending a powerful message to the world.
In a media appearance, a former U.S. Army general praised Kamala Harris, saying, "She has successfully united the Democratic Party, brought leaders together, established a clear vision, delivered a positive message, and defeated Donald Trump in the recent debate. Harris is intelligent, capable, and a public servant, as Amy Coney Barrett described."
