Hillary Clinton argues that it is a "double standard" to inquire about Kamala Harris's policies.
Kara Swisher was told by Clinton that she does not have to do it.
Hillary Clinton asserted that Vice President Kamala Harris didn't need to clarify her policy positions in interviews and accused her of facing a "double standard" from voters and the media.
Kara Swisher, a journalist and podcast host, was told by Clinton that she didn't have to do it. Instead, Clinton said he would cut to the chase on the "On with Kara Swisher" podcast.
Clinton stated that Harris has put out policies on her campaign website, which are accessible to anyone interested. She emphasized that these policies are not just concepts but specific plans for action.
She stated that the double standard is partly due to the fact that they are still getting to know her and also because they are still grappling with the idea of voting for a woman as president and commander in chief.
"This is especially true, let's emphasize it, regarding White women voters," Clinton stated.
Tom Elliott, founder of Grabien, shared a clip from the podcast on X.
Planet Chronicle Digital reached out to Clinton's office for comment.
Since their emergence as the Democratic ticket for president last month, Harris and Walz have granted at least 13 formal interviews, while Trump and Vance have granted at least 54.
Since President Biden withdrew from the race, Harris has not yet held an official press conference.
In an interview with a left-wing host this week, Clinton voiced more criticisms about the media's coverage of the two candidates.
During an interview with Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, Clinton stated that the media is not adequately covering Trump.
The press struggles to maintain a consistent narrative about Trump's danger due to his constant outrages. Journalists should strive for objectivity and cover the objective truth, which is the danger posed by Trump's demagoguery and its impact on our country and the world.
A second assassination attempt against the former president prompted her remarks.
On Sunday, Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was arrested for pointing a rifle through a chain-link fence near Trump International Golf Club while Trump was playing golf.
Routh had previously mirrored Biden and Harris' anti-Trump remarks that "Democracy is at stake" on his social media accounts this year and that Democrats "cannot lose."
In July, Trump escaped another assassination attempt when he was shot at during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
