Trump admits he regrets not confronting ABC moderators during the debate: "I wish I had"
The late-night show 'Gutfeld!' featured the former president as a guest.
Trump regretted not confronting ABC News anchors David Muir and Linsey Davis during the presidential debate.
"During an appearance on Planet Chronicle Channel's "Gutfeld!", Trump stated that his only regret is not going after the anchors, despite wanting to be elegant. He wished he had done so in a different way."
"Trump joked that he was unfairly treated by the anchor and that he no longer likes them, adding that their hair looked better five years ago."
During the debate, Muir and Davis faced criticism for frequently verifying Trump's statements while being more lenient towards Vice President Harris.
Trump stated that they didn't correct her once, but corrected everything he said, practically.
The previous president criticized "fake news" for its excessive praise of Harris' debate performance, claiming that she produced a "word salad" in her initial response when asked if Americans are better off financially now than four years ago.
Trump stated, "If I were Winston Churchill, they would say, 'Well, he was okay, but he wasn't special tonight,'" despite Churchill being a great and elegant debater.
Trump joked about the danger of golf during an interview with Planet Chronicle' Greg Gutfeld, discussing the assassination attempt against him on Sunday.
"Trump later praised the Secret Service for their excellent performance, stating that they spotted the barrel of a large gun emerging from bushes. He wondered how many individuals would have witnessed the event."
Trump lauded the woman who captured images of the fleeing assassin Ryan Wesley Routh's license plate, referring to her as a "heroine."
