CNN's Bash suggests that you could play a drinking game for every time Harris repeats the same talking points.
On Wednesday, Harris was accused of delivering a word salad in a speech, repeatedly using the phrase 'children of the community.'
Dana Bash of CNN joked that you could play a drinking game every time Vice President Kamala Harris repeats the same talking points on the economy.
Bash stated on a CNN panel on Wednesday that when listening to Kamala Harris' plans, it feels like you could start a drinking game every time she mentions "small businesses."
On Tuesday, Harris spoke to the NABJ in Philadelphia about her economic plan, emphasizing her plan to increase the tax credit for new small business owners from $5,000 to $50,000.
David Weigel, a Semafor reporter, stated that Bash frequently repeats her talking points, including her upbringing as a middle-class kid, which is the focus of her answers.
Weigel proposed that Harris relies on her rhetoric because she lacks a solution to voters' top worries regarding costs.
"In local media interviews, the first question asked of incumbents is often about lowering prices. This is a challenging question for the incumbent party to answer, as it has implications that are similar to those of Trump's policies, such as mass deportation to decrease demand and exploring more energy to lower energy costs."
"Weigel stated that Democrats can argue that inflation is not as bad as it was two years ago, but people want to know how to reduce prices. Therefore, everything she says must be realistic and able to withstand a fact check to address a difficult question."
There is no plan to reduce the cost of your grocery bill to its 2019 level due to the pandemic and money supply inflation. Trump has a solution, but Harris lacks an answer and relies on a future with more businesses to address the issue.
In her first solo TV interview since being the Democratic nominee, Harris discussed her "middle-class" upbringing and gave a detailed answer about her plans to reduce prices for Americans when asked about specific strategies.
She ended her response by mentioning her plan to increase the tax credit for start-up entrepreneurs.
Harris has suggested increasing the corporate tax rate from 21% to 28%.
The campaign of the individual reportedly informed Marc Goldwein, vice president of the Committee for a Responsible Budget, that they support all tax increases on high earners proposed by President Biden for the 2025 fiscal year.
At the 47th Annual Leadership Conference of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute in Washington, D.C., Harris did not reveal many specific policies she would implement as president.
Harris mentioned the need to give families the resources to help parents raise their children effectively, but she did not specify the resources or how they would be provided.
The VP stated that growing up, they understood that the children of the community were the children of the community, and it was essential for everyone to have a stake in ensuring that children had the resources they needed to reach their full potential.
Harris contradicted her own plan to regulate corporate prices by stating that only a few corporations increase prices for consumers during emergencies.
