Trump claims that Howard Stern was excellent until he became "woke," and ratings have plummeted as a result.
Greg Gutfeld had some "good shows" until he became anti-Trump, according to the former president.
SiriusXM radio host Howard Stern's ratings have decreased since he became more politically correct, according to former President Trump.
On Wednesday, Trump was a guest on "Gutfeld!" and discussed various topics, including surviving assassination attempts, the ABC Presidential Debate, and criticism from celebrities. Host Greg Gutfeld played a video of Stern, Clooney, and others who have criticized him in the past, including when Stern said he hated Trump supporters.
Trump stated on Gutfeld's show that he knew some of them, including Howard Stern, and he was great at his job at the time. However, he later went woke.
"The former president stated that since he became woke, his ratings have decreased, and he has become anti-Trump for a few reasons. He added that he was a frequent guest on his show and that he has a collection of the best of Howard Stern's interviews, which he does not want to promote."
Stern said that he used to have "good shows" with Trump, but those days are over.
Trump stated, "He's changed and no longer does ratings."
SiriusXM did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Over the weekend, Stern garnered attention by stating that he holds "no regard" for Trump backers.
"On "The Howard Stern Show," Stern stated that he disagrees politically with Trump and believes he should not be near the White House. He clarified that he does not hate Trump personally but rather the people who vote for him, whom he considers to be stupid. Stern also admitted that he has no respect for Trump."
The radio host stated that he is not bothered by losing "half of his listeners" who hold opposing political views, and he expects to receive "hate mail" from those who support Trump.
Stern's dislike for Trump voters is not new. He previously expressed a similar sentiment before the 2020 election, stating, "I don’t hate Donald. I hate you for voting for him, for not having intelligence. For not being able to see what's going on with the coronavirus, for not being able to see what the Justice Department is doing. I hate you. I don’t want you here."
Stern has said he takes being called "woke" as a compliment.
