Some Hispanic voters in Nevada are considering voting for Trump due to the current economic conditions.
One voter stated that it is not completely back to where it was, particularly due to inflation.
In Nevada, a crucial swing state, Hispanic voters informed CNN's John King that they were considering casting their ballots for former President Trump instead of Vice President Kamala Harris due to the current economic climate.
Rafael Cerros Jr., who founded a radio station with Rogelio Regalado in Nevada in 2020, stated that many people are contacting him or the group, known as Latinos, to discuss their support for Trump. The pair explained that the economy was the primary reason some Latino voters were leaning towards Trump.
In Henderson, Nevada, King discussed with voters their planned vote in November and the information they've gathered from the community.
"Small businesses are facing challenges, according to Cerros, who told CNN. While progress has been made, inflation remains a significant concern."
Zoila Sanchez, a Nevada real estate agent, acknowledged high prices during the interview but expressed confidence that Harris would resolve the issue.
Sanchez stated that he believed there were more Hispanic males considering Trump as their voting choice.
"She told CNN that she wanted to understand it but couldn't, as she thought it was a macho thing."
A retired police officer, veteran, and bar owner, Antonio Munoz, expressed his inclination towards Harris but desired additional information about her policies.
"Munoz stated to CNN that he had been monitoring her website, and while you had also read it, the information was not specific. He emphasized the need for a new plan to address the inflation that had severely impacted many businesses. He added that she needed to be more direct in her communication."
Trump's pre-COVID economy was missed by several of Munoz's friends, and he believes that Nevada's GOP governor election in 2022 could improve the political climate for Trump.
"Trump's standing among Hispanics has improved, according to Munoz. He has friends who were Democrats but have switched their political views, feeling that the country is not moving in the right direction."
On Wednesday, a CBS reporter disclosed that out of several restaurants visited in Nevada, she discovered just three individuals supporting Harris.
In every restaurant, we found only one Harris supporter among the people willing to talk to us, despite our efforts to speak with everyone. However, CBS correspondent Adriana Diaz noted that people are really excited about Trump.
