The mother of the 'General Hospital' actor who was killed demands action from the Democratic mayor and increased police presence on the streets.
The LAPD made public images of individuals being investigated in the murder of Johnny Wactor.
The mother of the murdered "General Hospital" actor Johnny Wactor urged Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass to address the city's escalating crime problem, as the police continue their search for her son's killers.
Scarlett Wactor discussed her desired changes to reduce city curb violence on "Fox & Friends."
On Thursday, Ainsley Earhardt and Lawrence Jones were told by Wactor that he wanted her to come out and speak up about the issues with that city.
"The atmosphere is pro-criminal, and they're not afraid. Anita's story reveals that they laughed and talked as they walked down the sidewalk. They heard them, but they didn't flee because they knew there wouldn't be much consequence. The felony threshold is just under 1,000, so what can be done?"
If a police car had been present every 3 or 4 minutes, they would have been caught, even if their life wouldn't have been saved.
"Perhaps 911 should not put the call on hold when they call. I want her to come out and say that she will change and change it."
Over the weekend, the LAPD released photos of suspects believed to be involved in the actor's murder.
An allegedly stolen vehicle was involved in a community alert, and the suspects are believed to have fled the scene.
The Infiniti Q50, a 2018 black four-door vehicle with a tan interior, was stolen.
In May, Johnny was fatally shot by three individuals who had raised his car with a floor jack and were stealing the catalytic converter, according to police.
One of the three on the ABC soap opera from 2020 to 2022 shot and killed the actor.
Anita Joy, who held the suspect in his final moments, and his family are still searching for justice since his killing.
Wactor called on the city to beef up police patrols to deter criminals.
"Even if they carry out the act, they will inevitably collide with a police vehicle," she stated.
