The brother of the woman who was allegedly killed by an illegal immigrant shares his thoughts: She was a 'joy to be around'
Over the weekend, the suspected murderer of Rachel Morin was apprehended following a 10-month investigation.
The woman's brother, who was murdered by an illegal immigrant 10 months ago, remembered her as a loving mother of five who was always full of life.
Rachel Morin, who was killed on a popular hiking trail in Maryland last August, was described as the "life of the party" and a "joy to be around" by her brother Michael Morin on "Jesse Watters Primetime."
Over the weekend in Oklahoma, the Harford County Sheriff's Office arrested Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez, 23, for first-degree rape and murder in connection to her death.
In February 2023, Martinez-Hernandez entered the country illegally and was accused of killing another young woman in El Salvador a month prior, as stated by Harford County Sheriff Jeff Gahler during a press conference.
Gahler stated that the suspected murderer is also linked to a home invasion in Los Angeles.
The sheriff stated that the American citizens are not safe due to failed immigration policies, as we are 1,800 miles away from the southern border. This is the second time in two years that an innocent Harford County woman has lost her life to a criminal who was in our country illegally.
Morin found it "annoying" to learn that his sister's accused murderer was an undocumented immigrant.
He explained that it was definitely something he thought was a possibility.
If President Biden were to encounter Morin in person after his sister's murder, what would Morin say to him?
He said he wouldn't say it on air if he saw the president.
The White House spokesperson conveyed their "deepest condolences" to Rachel Morin's family and loved ones, according to a statement made to Planet Chronicle Digital.
"While we cannot discuss ongoing legal investigations, we maintain that individuals should face the full legal consequences if proven guilty."
Morin stated that although he is not politically inclined, he is aware of his voting decision in November.
He hopes his future niece will recognize her grandmother as a "full of life and hilarious" person.
"She was probably the funniest person I know."
