Since the formation of the Harris-Walz ticket, Trump and Vance have conducted 34 interviews, while the Democratic presidential candidates have only had one non-scripted interview.

Last week, Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, broke their media silence by appearing on CNN's Dana Bash's show in Georgia. This was the first time Harris had spoken to a journalist since before she chose Walz on August 6, while Trump and Vance had given interviews to multiple news outlets during that time.

Mark Levin of Planet Chronicle' "Life, Liberty & Levin" is among the many media outlets that Trump has spoken to since Aug. 6. He has also made appearances on NBC News, the Daily Mail, Dr. Phil, and other networks, as well as sat down with Elon Musk for a lengthy conversation.

Over the same time period, Vance has spoken to numerous media outlets, including "FOX & Friends," CNN's John Berman, WBAY2, News 5 Cleveland, NBC News, "Meet the Press," No Spin News, WALB 10, "CBS Evening News," "The Brett Winterble Show," "Jesse Watters Primetime," "Planet Chronicle Sunday," "The Dan O'Donnell Show," ABC's "This Week," CBS' "Face the Nation" and CNN's "State of the Union."

According to Karoline Leavitt, the Trump campaign's national press secretary, Kamala Harris has not conducted a solo interview or presented any policy proposals on her website because she cannot explain her record of creating an unaffordable economy, allowing crime through an open border, and showing weakness that has caused chaos and war.

President Trump and Senator Vance have been campaigning aggressively, appearing in interviews, and maintaining a busy schedule because they value the opinions of voters. It is now evident that Trump has the message, energy, ground game, and resources to secure victory on November 5th.

At the Minnesota State Fair, Walz faced criticism from reporters on Monday for leaving without answering questions about the six Hamas hostages killed in Gaza, while Vance presented a stark contrast.

In her solitary interview, Harris defended her policy flip-flops on fracking and immigration, while maintaining that her values remained unchanged. She was also questioned about her regrets for staunchly defending President Biden's mental acuity after his debate debacle, given he dropped out of the race less than a month later.

Critics in conservative circles criticized Harris for having Walz with her, as many voters were eager to see how she would handle tough questions without her running mate present.

In 2021, Harris struggled to defend the Biden-Harris administration's border policy during an interview with NBC’s Lester Holt, sparking interest among political onlookers about how she would handle the spotlight.

Harris responded to questioning about not visiting the Mexican border by stating that he hasn't been to Europe and doesn't understand the point being made. He emphasized that he is not discounting the importance of the border.

Since replacing President Biden as the Democratic nominee, Harris has not held a formal press conference. Instead, she has opted for quick "gaggles" and off-the-record sessions with reporters on her campaign plane.

During two news conferences last month, Trump spoke and answered questions for a total of 148 minutes.

On Sept. 10, Trump and Harris will meet at an ABC News debate, but it is uncertain if Harris will conduct an interview without Walz present or hold a press conference before Election Day.

The Harris campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
