RFK Jr.'s former running mate responds to critics after endorsing Trump: "They've lost their soul"
Nicole Shanahan wants to know what happened to the party that popularized the phrase "when they go low, we go high."
Nicole Shanahan, a California entrepreneur, responded to criticism after her former running mate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. endorsed former President Trump at an Arizona rally on Friday.
Lawrence O'Donnell of MSNBC accused RFK Jr. of disgracing his father's name, while James Carville suggested that he was at the top of America's mental health crisis and should be institutionalized.
"This is wild. I'm shocked, saddened, and worried for them because the party that once said 'when they go low, we go high' is now going lower and lower. They've lost their soul and direction," she said Tuesday on "Jesse Watters Primetime."
The five siblings of RFK Jr. who released a statement denounced his decision to endorse Trump, calling it a "betrayal" of their family's values and a "sad ending to a sad story." They stated that they believe in the Harris-Walz ticket and want an America "filled with hope."
Shanahan stated on Planet Chronicle that her former running mate is "one of the kindest" individuals she has met, and he has expressed that he does not possess any "bone of revenge" within him.
RFK Jr. has suspended his 2024 campaign and endorsed Trump, stating that despite their differing views on certain issues, they will work together to form a "unity government."
The nephew of the late President John F. Kennedy, who is 70 years old, stated that his primary goal is to put an end to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, prevent censorship, and improve the health of children.
In Glendale, Ariz., the crowd was informed by him that Trump's goal is to restore the health of America.
"Our high chronic health disease rate, despite spending $4.6 trillion on healthcare, raises the question of why our healthcare system is not delivering healthy people, as stated by Shanahan."
RFK, Jr. was officially added to the Trump-Vance transition team Tuesday.
