Milwaukee voter pledges to support Trump due to perceived lack of progress under Democrats for decades.
Lawrence Jones hosted a 'Breakfast with Friends' event at the Machine Shed in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, during the RNC.
In November, a Milwaukee voter will support former President Donald Trump, citing a desire for change after decades of Democratic rule in the city.
Lawrence Jones of "Fox & Friends" had "Breakfast with Friends" at the Machine Shed in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, during the ongoing Republican National Convention (RNC).
"For the past 65 years, Milwaukee has been under Democratic control, yet no progress has been made. As a result, it's time to try something new, according to what she told Jones on Monday."
In November, crime and the economy are the main concerns for many voters as they cast their ballots.
One supporter claimed that only God and Trump can restore the United States to its former glory under the leadership of the Biden-Harris administration.
"This current administration has destroyed this country, leaving it barren and lifeless. Only two things can save us now: God's return to our nation and the leadership of Trump. Once these conditions are met, we will see a transformation from ashes to beauty."
Another voter expressed her excitement to hear from Trump at the RNC after the assassination attempt at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, over the weekend.
"One voter emotionally shared with Jones, "It'll be a blessing to hear from him." The voter said, "On Saturday night, we were at church, and I came out from church, and I looked at my phone and I saw that there was an incident and that the Secret Service had to rush him off. Slowly, I started learning more and more about that.""
"During church, our homily emphasized that God performs miracles, both visible and invisible, and we must act as disciples and spread the message that God is present, regardless of whether we witness the miracle or not. This, our homily stated, is what led to Trump's salvation."
On Saturday night, while giving a speech at an outdoor rally in Butler, Trump was shot. The bullet narrowly missed his head and pierced the upper part of his ear during the assassination attempt.
When Trump entered the convention, he was met with thunderous applause and a remarkable standing ovation, despite the attack on his life.
Since the shooting, it was his first public appearance and only hours after he secured enough delegates for the Republican nomination.
JD Vance sat beside him, who was wearing a bandage on his ear and appeared emotional while making his way through Fiserv Forum as "God Bless the USA" played.
